Korg released the Trinity and TR-Rack in 1996 and again raised the bar on what was possible in a music workstation. The Trinity was a descendant of the original Oasys synthesizer and included many new features not found on any other workstations at the time. The keyboard version was expandable like no other synth and included features like a SCSI port, audio recording and a large number of new effects.
Version 3 added the MOSS Z1 board (Korg's physical-modeling technique) which brought the workstation to a whole new level. It also included the new Touch Screen Graphical User Interface. Many Trinity owners still feel that the sound of the Trinity was better then it's big brother Triton and as a result there are still a large number of Trinity's still being used today for live gigs and studio recordings.
The Patch King's Trinity sounds are available as Korg PCG files. The sounds can be delivered as a digital download or floppy disks via snail mail. If you would like to get the free download delivery just remember that you need to have access to a computer that has a floppy drive. After downloading the file, just save it to a high density floppy disk. Then take the disk over to your Trinity and you can load the sounds from your Trinity floppy drive. Sounds are also available as system exclusive or standard midi files for TR-Rack owners or Trinity owners with a midi interface. We provide the software with your order that lets you load in the sounds.
Click on the above links for more info on each of the four sound libraries. Our sounds will also get you back in business if your Trinity battery has died and you lost all the sounds in the memory. If you need any more info please contact us via phone or e-mail.
