Triton Classic Disk Loading Info

We dug out the owners manuel to see if we could find some answers on how to load sounds into the different banks. On page 133, we found that you can not load the data into the G bank. It can only be loaded into Banks A-E for programs and banks A-D for combos. It's unclear in the manuel exactly how to do it so we experimented a bit and found out how it's done.

This is what you do:
1- Choose Disk
2- Choose the file you want to load
3- Choose Open
4- Choose the type of data you want to load (programs, combos etc) You can only choose one type of data at a time.
5- Choose Open
6- Choose Load (in upper right corner of the display)
7- Choose load selected
8- Then you can choose with the arrow which bank you want to load the data into. The programs can be loaded into banks A-E and the combos can be loaded into banks A-D.

NOTE: You don't have to go through any of this if you just want to load in all the data to your A bank. Just choose the file and hit load and then load selected. Everything will load into your A bank at once. That's the easy way to load everything in. We have had reported problems with the combos not sounding correct if you load in programs and combos seperately. If you have this problem then load in "all" data at once and the combos should sound as we intented them to. You might have the effects switched off in your Triton. Go to the "Global" section. There is a section in the lower left side of the screen called "Effect Global". There are three parts to it.

1- iFX 1-5 OFF
2- MFX1 OFF
3- MFX2 OFF
Make sure none of them are checked. If they are that turns the effects off.
